Airborne Toxic Non-Event

Will my flight from Heathrow on the 22nd be affected by the volcanic ashen-faced cinders currently roaming the upper atmosphere? Flights to Vancouver take a northerly curve, skirting Iceland and crossing southern Greenland before entering Canadian airspace over Labrador – a magnificent parade of ice and water on a clear day. The plane follows the sun and each of my 3 journeys out have been a treat (apart from the leg-room problem).

In response to a question: Maintenant is the surname of the ‘Ted’ character in Pick Up the Pieces. I wrote Pick Up the Pieces as a novel based on my 6 month journey in British Columbia, The Yukon and South-East Alaska. I am currently looking for a publisher and/or a literary agent.
